On the evening of May 18, 2024, the Grand Finale of the HR Arena competition was held in the auditorium on the 7th floor of the University of Finance and Marketing's District 7 campus. The event featured the participation of the finalist teams, distinguished guests from the business community, university leadership, leaders of the Faculty of Business Administration, and hundreds of students who came to support the four highly competitive teams.

Following the success of two previous academic competitions organized by the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA)—Startup Speedway 2017 and UFM Debate 2021—HR Arena UFM 2024 marks a highly anticipated return. Hosted by UFM's Faculty of Business Administration, HR Arena is an academic competition designed to showcase student talent in the field of Human Resources.

HR Arena offers students throughout Ho Chi Minh City the opportunity to gain practical experience through realistic HR scenarios, simulating job interviews and workplace challenges they might face in their careers. Participants will also have the chance to network and acquire essential HR knowledge from experienced industry professionals.

This competition serves as a robust foundation for future careers, setting the stage for an exciting contest where emerging "Pawns" can shine and demonstrate their skills to ascend to the top and be crowned "Queens" in the HR Arena.

The Grand Finale was a spectacular event, garnering the attention of over 450 UFM students and featuring a distinguished panel of judges, including esteemed faculty members and experienced HR managers from various enterprises.

The final stage of the competition introduced a dynamic and spirited debate challenge. The four finalist teams were divided into two brackets and provided with video materials pertinent to their debate topics. In Bracket A, TAMSAC and TTK engaged in a rigorous debate on the topic of students' industry knowledge and experience, showcasing their analytical prowess and ability to present coherent and compelling arguments. In Bracket B, PENGUIN and MIDNIGHT deliberated on the subject of flexible working environments, delivering incisive arguments that captivated the audience.

Following two intense rounds of debate, MIDNIGHT and TAMSAC emerged victorious, advancing to the ultimate round. Drawing on their prior experience and extensive knowledge, both teams demonstrated remarkable talent and confidence, vying for the prestigious title in a display of intellectual excellence and strategic acumen.

With remarkable agility and determination, MIDNIGHT secured the championship position, emerging as the victor in the fiercely contested HR ARENA UFM 2024. TAMSAC claimed the runner-up position, bringing pride and energy through the efforts of its three talented members. The third-place honors were awarded to PENGUIN and TTK, both teams demonstrating exceptional skill and perseverance throughout the competition.
The Grand Finale not only marked the conclusion of this intense contest but also unveiled new opportunities and evoked strong emotions through its captivating debates. HR ARENA UFM 2024 has established itself as a pivotal platform for aspiring HR professionals, serving as a rigorous proving ground for talent and determination. This competition is a significant milestone, setting the stage for future leaders in the human resources field.
