Amidst the exciting and dynamic atmosphere of the new academic year at the University of Finance and Marketing, on Sunday morning, September 29, 2024, the Faculty of Business Administration solemnly held the Welcome Ceremony for the freshmen of the Class of 24D at Auditorium A701, Campus 27 Tan My, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

This ceremony not only serves as an opportunity for the Faculty to extend a warm welcome to the new students officially joining the Faculty’s community but also provides a chance for them to acquaint themselves with their new learning environment and connect with teachers and peers. This annual event marks the beginning of a new academic year for new students as they embark on their journey of learning and development.

The ceremony was conducted in a warm and formal atmosphere, filled with joy and meaningful activities, with the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Thi Thu Suong - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Tran Nhan Phuc, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, along with esteemed faculty members. The ceremony was also honored by the attendance of MBA. Nguyen Lai Duong Phong, Head of the Student Affairs Office, and MBA. Nguyen Tien Khoi, Secretary of the Youth Union. Notably, this year's event featured the participation of numerous businesses and successful alumni, who were ready to share valuable experiences in both academic and career pursuits.

At the opening speech of the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huỳnh Thị Thu Sương - Head of the Faculty of Business Administration, extended her heartfelt congratulations and deep encouragement to the new students with meaningful messages. This was a powerful source of inspiration for them to strive in their studies and achieve excellent results during their academic journey at the Faculty. A highlight of the ceremony was the sharing session with the corporate guests. Mr. Nguyễn Khánh Hùng, Director of KANA DECOR Co., Ltd, shared invaluable experiences with practical insights into business and enterprise management, encouraging students to boldly pursue their passions. Additionally, Mr. Phạm Văn Năm, Regional Director of Highlands Coffee Service Joint Stock Company (Highlands Coffee), and Ms. Lê Ngọc Tuyết Trinh, Director of CMI Trade and Service Co., Ltd, awarded scholarships to seven students in difficult circumstances, each valued at 5 million VND. The ceremony continued with the awarding of certificates of merit and scholarships to students who achieved high scores in the 2024 entrance exam, providing strong motivation for the freshmen to strive in the upcoming school year. An alumna of the Faculty of Business Administration, Ms. Nguyễn Hoàng Phương Vy - Regional Business Manager of ChubbLife Vietnam's Life Insurance, also shared her success story from her academic and career development journey, offering powerful inspiration to the new students. What is more, the new students received practical advice from the Faculty's teaching staff - Dr. Võ Thái Huy Cường and MBA. Nguyễn Thị Diễm - on effective learning methods to help them have clear orientations for their upcoming academic journey.

The 2024 Welcome Ceremony for the Freshmen of the Faculty of Business Administration successfully came to an end, leaving great expectations and confidence in a bright future for the new generation of students.
