On October 16th, 2024, the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at the University of Finance-Marketing organized a study trip to AEON Tân Phú Celadon for nearly 70 Sales Management students during the third semester of the 2024 academic year.

This visit provided the students with an invaluable opportunity to observe firsthand the operational intricacies of one of Vietnam’s leading retail enterprises, offering them real-world insight into the industry they are studying.

This annual study trip, part of the Sales Management course, is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Over the course of the visit, students engaged in meaningful discussions with company managers on key retail management topics, including effective product placement, customer behavior analysis, and strategies for successful promotional campaigns.

Ms.Nguyen Thi Thanh Thúy, Talent Acquisition Executive at AEON Tân Phú Celadon, shared her thoughts on the UFM students' performance: "The Sales Management students asked very insightful and practical questions. They showed a deep interest in key retail aspects, such as the positioning of entertainment booths and the patterns of customer behavior within the shopping mall. Their questions demonstrated not only their academic understanding but also their ability to apply their knowledge to real-world situations."

The students also had the chance to network with experienced professionals, learning firsthand how retail operations and sales management principles are put into practice. This interaction helped solidify the concepts they have learned in class, providing them with fresh perspectives and a better understanding of the dynamic retail environment.

Mr. Dương Van Thi, Deputy Director of AEON Tân Phú Celadon, remarked, "We always welcome the opportunity to host students and provide them with a closer look at the retail industry. Many students who have participated in such visits have returned as employees after graduation. I hope these students will also have the chance to join us in the future."

One of the highlights of the visit was a lively Q&A session where students had the opportunity to inquire about customer engagement strategies, the ideal timing for promotional events, and the factors that influence retail success. The managers at AEON Tân Phú Celadon were impressed by the students' enthusiasm and preparedness, noting how their questions were closely aligned with real-world business challenges.
