Nổi bậtVibrant Bidding Session in Sales Management Class
Ho Chi Minh City, May 29, 2024
This morning, students from the Sales Management class of the integrated program in the Faculty of Business Administration participated in a simulated bidding session in Room B404 at the University of Finance-Marketing's District 7 campus. The session was conducted in a tense yet lively atmosphere.
According to Master Pham Tran Khoa, lecturer of Sales Management, this is a "2-in-1" educational approach designed to help students both learn theoretical knowledge and gain closer exposure to real-world business operations through sales management simulations conducted at the university for Business Administration students. Sales Management within the Business Administration program is regarded as a foundational and core element for all enterprises. It is an essential activity that businesses must undertake to ensure their survival and growth. As selling is the "ultimate" mission of every business, students must master sales management knowledge and skills to successfully run their future enterprises.
During the simulated bidding session, students assumed the roles of suppliers pitching their products to strategic customers, represented by a large resort in the southern region. This exercise provided students with a deeper understanding of the B2B business model and highlighted the significance of corporate sales.
The session not only immersed students in the high-pressure environment of sales negotiations, where they faced challenging questions from the "Purchasing Committee" (their fellow students) but also imparted valuable lessons on corporate sales techniques. This hands-on experience is designed to help students avoid common pitfalls when they enter the real business world.
